  1. Hi Glenn, what a great idea, I was wondering how you took the `abstract` image.
    I will have try some bubble trouble!, were exactly did you position your lighting in this image?

  2. Hi Heather,

    The lighting was easy (and perhaps a bit lazy). I used a single desk lamp sitting on the floor and directed it to the coloured paper under the glass dish that was suspended between two chairs. Moving the lamp to different positions gave graduations of intensity of the light. I did note towards the end with the oil and water pictures that if I angled the light up a little it refracted through the glass and the oil drops giving some nice definition to the perfect circles of oil. When I do this again I will take a second lamp and direct this at a sharp angle through the glass dish to see what happens. I look forward to seeing your results.
